Amanita Muscaria var. Formosa. Amanitaceae, Agaricales.
(Мухомор = Fly Agaric).

Cap: 6-16cm convex and rounded as a ball up to flattened, old one sometimes slightly sunken; color is yellow-orange up to orange-yellow; old margins becoming radial lined and orange-yellow; white patches irregular or concentrically arranged and pyramidal when young. Cap surface is smooth and some tacky in wet weather; young cap has remains of cotton. Gills are free or slightly attached, close, broad; color from white up to weak yellowish-white when old. Stalk: 6-15cm long, white up to dull cream; 1.5-3cm thick, slightly enlarging down with rounded basal bulb with rows of cottony patches as rims; stalk sometimes hollow with edging. Partial veil is white and collapsing, leaving pendant ring at upper part of stalk. Spore print is white. Edibility: poisonous.
Habitat: scattered in birches with aspen or near birches in pine-tree forest. July – September.
