Not P. petersii

P. petersii is a species growing on burnt place and is macroscopically very different. The species illustrated under this name (p. 213) in the book Ascomycete Fungi of North America is not P. petersii but another carbonicolous species, probably P. echinospora.
P. vesiculosa is very common on wood mulch.
