Notes: Ok, here it is, one more observation over a week later. I found this pine cone with a couple obviously bird nest fungus on it. But the mushrooms were still small orange domes, and I wasn’t sure which ones they were. So, I brought it home with me from Albion, and kept it on the back porch for a week, for the mushrooms to mature. And here they are, the orange caps dried out, and started to flake off. The “eggs” are dark grey, and stuck together with glue. The outsides are whitish and fuzzy, so that points to the species. First time it took me over a week to make an observation…
