Notes: 2.2cm cap diameter x 7.5cm stem length, solitary, growing on ground under oak in mixed forest. Subglobose spores 9-10 × 7-8µ , inamyloid.

The cap is very yellow; and the stipe, very white in comparison to pseudocrocea.

Of course, sometimes a camera will not cooperate fully. I’d be very interested in seeing this material, Brian.
