Observation 167770: Melanoleuca alboflavida (Peck) Murrill

When: 2014-06-14

Collection location: Moon Lake Park, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave W (Dave W)

No specimen available

According to Index Fungorum this former Melanoleuca is now placed in Collybia, which is quite a surprise to me, as I was under the impression that the only mushrooms left in Collybia were parasitic on other fungi.
