Observation 167866: Amanita roseitincta (Murrill) Murrill

Notes: As was the case last year at about this time, A. roseitincta was the most abundant Amanita found in the Lance Rosier Unit.
Spores not amyloid.
Spores ~ 7.1-10.0 X 6.0-7.8 microns, smooth, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid.
Q(ave) = 1.26.
