Observation 167914: Cortinarius (Pers.) Gray
When: 2014-06-19

Notes: Maybe Cortinarius. Several small clusters growing in soil in open grass area of Eucalyptus forest. Several stages of maturity collected. Noticed yellow cobweb type strands on most mature specimen. This specimen also had light brown gills compared to the mauve/purple colour of the younger specimens. Stipes tended to be bulbous at the base. One of the smaller specimens also displayed what appears to be yellow spores at the top of the stipe.
