Observation 168074: Coprinopsis P. Karst.

Notes:
Habitat: Growing in the grass near live and decaying trees. Damp, Humid, Dark, Very nutrient enriched soil. Found at night time, never seen these here in the day. Found in clusters of 2 or 3 mushrooms.

Gills: Very dark purple, currently turning black. Frayed around the edges

Stem: White hollow, slightly fragile 3-5 inches long

Cap: White, Bell shaped, frayed around the end, looks like when it is matures it draws upward. Cap is white with pale off white tip.

Bruising: Just turns darker purple and almost black.

General location: Central Louisiana, USA
