Notes: Growing from well rotted woody debris in a old skidder trail. Surrounding woods were primarily white birch, american beech, and red oak.

Fruit bodies up to 7 inches tall and 1.5 inches thick. Stem was pitted and off white with yellowish hues. Volva had pinkish hues.
