Used references: Arora, Mushrooms Demystified. Should have “dark reddish-brown” sporeprint. Growing on stems or woody debris (rarely) and is mycorrhizal. Spore-print critical to this species. The last photo is especially suggestive.

Colombia has species which also occur in NA, and Mushrooms Demystified is a guide book for Western North America, not Colombia.
