Observation 168329: Entonaema liquescens Möller

Notes: Hopefully this is a fungus. Fruiting on wood. Unusual looking – at least to me. Have included a number of photos which might aid in identification. Bright canary yellow. Bruised somewhat in handling. This is about the size of a quarter or approximately 1" at its widest point

of wood? Is it bruising reddish? Do you have a photo of it cut in half so we can see the structure? Does it have a notable odor or taste?
