Specimen encountered in mixed wood prevalent pines/oaks
Cap about 1 1/2 cm wide conic, light violet and scaly
Narrow whitish gills.
stem about 3 mm thick and 4 cm long, scaly violet purple, with white mycelium at the base. odor not distinctive.
Negative reaction to KOH on stem and pileus.
spore print pink/salmon
