Notes: Fruiting in “fairy rings” in our backyard- mainly near the sprinklers. Found these last 2 summers at approximately the same time/location.
Guide books claim these to be edible… I’ve tried them 3 times and have hated the flavor, texture and odor. Never had any gastro upset as with some of the over 80 species I’ve tried, but superiorly unappealing in my opinion.
