to the european X. roseoalbidus, which I considered in the recent obervation 169195; Look yourself. I don´t know if such species exists in North America.

I have an observation of a mushroom very much like this , many from behind the house up a leaf littered wide trail. Pretty dried out when I found them, all turned up and very cracked . There are a lot of boletus here.
