Used references: contacted Rick Kerrigan- he said "Of the Agaricus species I know, your specimen is a good match for A. augustus. Yes, the lower stem is not wooly in your specimen, but it is very mature, and the velar hyphae on the lower stipe surface typically collapse and disappear during maturation.
