and shallow gills so tight they “disappear” are characters I have associated with G. confluens. See obs 168828 for instance. Nice proposal.

Gathered during a club foray, when I was constantly busy fielding questions. My first impression actually was that there must be some gills on the undersides of these little entities. My loupe was at home and I couldn’t see anything without magnification. Forgot to further investigate the material/photo.

I believe these were on wood. I don’t have the material.

but there are radial wrinkles or something on the underside of the bigger fb.

I would really like to know what this is! Seems like a weird shape even if it’s just an agaric with the gills cleanly chewed off.
