Notes:
Found in mixed hardwoods, dominant species include various oaks and tulip poplar. Cap diameter of this specimen wasn’t measured but they typically range up to 7 inches. Stipe is hollow by design. White latex slowly stains flesh and gills purple. Latex tastes mild.
