Safer to call it Boletus sp.

It may be safer to classify this as a Boletus sp. since the genus Xerocomellus was delimited based on European specimens. We North Americans are in the bad habit of borrowing European names for fungi that may resemble each other morphologically but are distinct phylogenetically. Your call.
