Notes: The reddish color on the discs is fairly accurately captured in the photos.

Mossy area under a mature hemlock on a lake shore.

What you say makes sense, especially since you put forward amerifulva as a possible ID.

emphasize red, and the third yellow. I would say that the natural color was not as red as 1 or 2, but more red than 3. Hope it’s possible to make sense of this description.

I do recall the prominence of the red on the discs.

I’m guessing that the color in the third shot is closest “to nature.”
