It matches our previous data from A. bisporigera. Very nice sequences.

Thank you, again, Eva.

I very much appreciate your sharing collections with our little lab.

Very best,

Rod

Hello, Eva.

A long time ago, Alexander Smith told me that he associated two-spored basidia with smallish, slender white destroying angel fruiting bodies.

Over the years, I made the mistake of lumping together too many destroying angels under the name “bisporigera.” Now that genetic information is available to improve our abilities to segregate taxa, I would like to see if Dr. Smith wasn’t correct in his view of 35 years ago.

For this reason, I would very much like to examine this material if that is possible.

Very best,

Rod
