Notes: A few basidiomes scattered in grass/moss under old oaks.

N = cap diameter 4-10 cm
P = spore print color A-B (white to pale cream)
U = tastes bitter

> Cap diameter + ~7.5 cm for the largest sporocarp; cap cuticle peeling only at margin which is non-striate and non-tuberculate.

> Microscopy:
[20/1/1]; L x W = (7.9-) 8.4-9.3 (10.2) x (7.0-) 7.4-8.8 um;
L x *W** = 8.9 × 8 um
Q = 1.06-1.16 (-1.18); Q = 1.12; globose to subglobose to ovate; warts <0.4 um tall, 2-3 connectors occasionally forming a partial reticulum
