Observation 171291: “Discomycetes” Sacc.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were found singly or in distanced clusters on sandy, low-lying soil in an oak dominated forest. I first thought these might be Sphaerosporella brunnea but the spores just don’t match up and macroscopically these lack the darker, matted hair on the outer surface.
