Notes: These collections came from a veterinarian case that I was call to help with. The dog owner reported that the dog started throwing up, had diarrhea, and drooled excessively. The realized that the dog had eaten some mushrooms from their backyard. They collected the mushrooms from the vomit (first picture), and then went around their yard collecting what they could (second and third picture) quickly before taking the dog to the vet.
From what I can tell, the remains from the vomit are either mostly or entirely Russulas. The yard photos include a bolete (which didn’t stain blue), and some older Russula that at first appeared to be something dark-spored.
