Habitat: Fruiting in moist sandy soil alone near trees
Notes: 4 cm fruiting body. Yellowish brown, scaly, tough exterior. Prone to breaking. Gleba blackish powdery. Large dark spores 10µm. Spore mass white in younger specimens and solid. Found in sandy soil and fruiting body was cracked into lobes.
