…bleached out by the sun (it was sitting in a sunny spot) and perhaps taken over by something that blanketed the pore mouths and the stipe with a fine white matter. It just had a weird look to it visible in the photo.

I collected an albino separans a few years ago.

The spores for this specimen were irregularly shaped… a bit like Entoloma spores. Clearly an anomaly.
