Habitat: Found growing on a pine log
Notes: Polypore rosy fruiting body with sausage shaped spores that are 5-6micrometers in length. Cap minutely hairy with 5 pores/mm. Fruiting body conk shaped. Spores smooth and hyaline.
Rationale for ID: Has a rosy color and is conk shaped. Has pores and fruiting body is minutely hairy. Spores are smooth and sausage shaped. Was found growing on a pine log. Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora
