Notes: Has tough black hairs on top of fruiting body and pores on the underside. Brown in color.
Rationale for ID: Top of fruiting body covered in stiff coarse black hairs. Underside has pores. Fruiting on the base of a dead stump and contains very small pores. Fruiting body brown in color. Polyporaceae of the United States Alaska and Canada
