Mixed hardwood forest. It was found solitary. Pileus was 3 cm in width and convex in shape. It was subvelutinous in texture. Pileus was reddish-yellow in color. The gills were bright yellow in color and attached. The stipe measured 5cm in length and 1cm in width. The stipe was peachy, reddish-yellow in color. The pileus stained bright bluish-green when exposed to ammonia. Spore print could not be obtained.
