We have recieved this material and accessioned it to Rod’s Herbarium. We have scheduled it for DNA sequencing.

I think this is one of the North American taxa that is crocea-like.

We are planning sequencing of my herbarium material. At the moment, there are two names on the WAO site for crocea-like taxa in North America:

Amanitapseudocrocea” and Amanitaamericrocea.”

If you can obtain material like the beautiful specimen in your photograph, I would very much like to study such material.

Very best,

Rod
