Observation 172311: Tylopilus alboater (Schwein.) Murrill

Notes:
Found these for two years, but always arrived a little late. First year found 3 healthy specimens and lots of older decaying ones. (Igor ID) This year I found only 1 somewhat recognizable one and many decaying ones (more than 10).

The location is always the same – near the old Stover Mill under the picnic tables and around them alongside the waterfall (very pretty location) with big oaks.

Obviously, these mushrooms are not of foray interest to park visitors. They are left to grow (up to 20 cm) and then decay.
