Observation 172329: Resupinatus Nees ex Gray
When: 2014-08-03
No herbarium specimen

Notes: On underside of branch on wet ground, approx 3mm in diameter. These appeared to be tiny gray cups, but gill pattern suggests Resupinatus. No mature fruit bodies nearby to confirm suspicion. Gill pattern is worth noting. Fruit bodies have 4 to 6 main gills that come close to touching near the geometric center. Other gills are drawn by splitting the remaining pie shapes into equal parts – but the gills do not meet or fuse at any point.
