Notes: Growing under chestnut trees.
Firstly I thought that this could be one of the species Echinoderma carinii or E. hystrix, but the spores are even smaller than in those species.
It is not possible for me to give precise dimensions for the spores; the following dimensions are approximate: 3.8-4.8 × 2.5-3.3 um.
