Notes: At drip line of large old oaks in clay soil near local elementary school. Very dark brown, cracked cap 9 cm, pale yellow pores, slowly staining brown, to 15mm thick, context white, slowly staining pale orange near top of stipe, taste mild, not bitter, stipe pale with brown reticulation near top, very wormy, strong, pleasant mushroom smell.
