Observation 173283: Arrhenia epichysium (Pers.) Redhead, Lutzoni, Moncalvo & Vilgalys

Found on decaying log in mixed hardwood-conifer forest. Small caps between 1-3 cm at most.

Unfortunately! But I believe you are right that it is an Arrhenia spp. Thank you for the advice. Pseudoclitocybe did not seem right when I looked at more photos.

in my experience Pseudoclitocybe is more massive, more fleshy and darker. Do you remember the smell? Arrhenias often smell spicy and woody, like some conks do.
