Recognized by sight: This mushroom was found on a foray in Sardinia led by Sardinian mycologist, Luigi Arras, who also identified the mushrooms.
Used references: See- http://translate.google.com/…; Which says one distinguishing feature is “enlarged with a mass of white mycelium which also includes material of the ground and dried leaves” at the base and color ranging from “whitish color to beige-ocher.”
