partial veil extremely friable, falling away from sitpe apex and pileus margin upon eye contact. middle of stipe darkened on larger fruiting body from handling (fingerprints visible at full resolution).
Substrate: in soil and mixed leaf litter
Habitat: mixed deciduous + coniferous temperate rainforest, ~4500 ft.
