A sole basidiome found by me growing in mixed woods of hemlock and birch.
I think it was preserved and deposited in the NEMF Herbarium.

It was a great NEMF foray, the best I ever attended so far.
The lack of reticulation on this specimen was a little troubling. Btu based on the three collections I have seen before, it’s highly variable.
The description is in Bessette-Roody-Bessette. Looks like a very good match.
