Notes: Melanoleuca alboflavida (Pk.) Murr. Tricholomataceae, Agaricales. (Yellowish-white Melanoleuca. Большая белая рядовка)
Big light flat fragile mushroom.
Cap: 8-18cm, broad, slightly convex or flat, sometimes a little sunken, smooth; color changed from white up to yellowish-white when old. Cap looks as a pancake (thick skin or thin flesh + gills).
Gills attached, thin and close to high density, narrow or moderately broad, white or with slightly cream coloring. Odor is weak and pleasant.
Stalk: 8-16cm long, white, 1-2cm thick, slightly enlarged down, some fibrous with age and brownish-white.
Habitat: rare kind, small group scattered in pine-tree forest with single birches, among pine-trees in shady places of well-wooded forest (often with wild strawberry). I meet this kind over last 20 years, but not every year.
Edibility: good.
Season: June-August.
