Notes: Melanoleuca melaleuca (Fr.) Murr. Tricholomataceae, Agaricales. (Changeable Melanoleuca. Серо-коричневая рядовка с длинной ножкой)
Grayish-brown fragile mushroom with long narrow stalk.
Cap: 6-12cm, broadly convex or flat, sometimes a little sunken, smooth; color changed from light brownish-gray up to grayish-brown with indistinct darker spot in the center. Cap is rather thin.
Gills attached, thin and close to high density, narrow or moderately broad, white up to dull cream. Odor is weak and pleasant.
Stalk: 10-16cm long, white, 1-2cm thick and straight, hollow, brownish-white and fibrous.
Habitat: rare kind, small group scattered in pine-tree forest with single birches, among pine-trees in shady places (often with wild strawberry).
Edibility: edible according North America Field Guide Book.
Season: June-August.
