Your comment on these and the other specimen in observation 174155 make me doubt that I ever will understand this genus. The proposal of P. canina was based on the “sharply curled-under lobe margins” which can be observed in all photos and better on those of the underside of thallus. As far as I understood from you webpage, this was the main point separating P. canina from P. rufescens (whenever the size of specimenss are dubious as I think to be the case).
