Observation 174335: Amanita amerirubescens Tulloss nom. prov.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: On ground under beech, maple, oak and balsam fir. Cap 11 cm, red brown with yellowish warts. Foul odor—like putrid fish. I’ve seen a lot of A. amerirubescens that were this old but none smelled like this.
