Observation 174823: Laetiporus Murrill

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Possibly l cincinnatus? I’m not very familiar with sulfur shelf but this did not seam like it. Growing here n there from heavily decomposed fallen logs. Flies and springtails seem to love this mushroom.

White pores – Laetiporus sulphureus. Yellow pores – Laetiporus cincinnatus.

If the pores were white, then it is L. cincinnatus. Otherwise it is Laetiporus sulphureus.
