Observation 17494: Rickenella swartzii (Fr.) Kuyper

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in moss on the ground, under pine, D. fir, some tan oak was maybe near enough.

I was a bit excited to find these, it was the first time finding these for California for me, nice to see. Mixed in with a lot of Mycena, and kinda hard to see. I saw the small central black spot, and then turning over the id became clear, not Mycena.

Actually Albion for these.

I actually did find these in Albion, just up from the Albion river there. Not in Mendocino or Jackson forest.
