But I think there are a few aspects that point away from Tyromyces fumidiceps. 1. These little polypores were not as soft-fleshed as I would expect with a Tyromyces species. 2. The pores appear to be larger than the 4-7 per mm reported by MushroomExpert. 3. The prominent brown bruising is not reported for T. fumidiceps.

Except for the much lighter color of the polypores, the one photo found in the flickr link does look somewhat like this obs.
