It looks as though there is a second observation dealing with a stem cross-section, etc.

I suggest combining the two observations. The section of the stem shows clearly that there is no bulb at the base of the stem. This will eliminate the possibility of a species in the Phalloideae.

If you are confident that the material you have is from section Caesareae, then you might consider if your material could be A. vernicoccora. If you have Melzer’s reagent or Lugol’s solution, you could test to see if the spores are inamyloid. This would help you differentiate between something in the Caesareae and Darv’s suggestion of ocreata (in the Phalloideae).

The edge was definitely striate.

There would not be a skirt on the stem of A. velosa.
