I am trying to get spores out of this one and will put them under scrutiny. I suppose it is some peziza.
The left-hand side of the fungus folds in on itself, and wraps around a little bit. The upper section looks to be severely predated upon. Only two sides of what once may have been a ear-shaped fungus are still present, and those are photographed from above rather than from the side, which might have given us a better view of the fungus.
Details of this fungus must be blown up to maximum size to see nearly anything.
