I have been going up here for decades, and while there has always been debris on the roof we used to clean it off. Now it has gathered up for a few years and the ring started smaller, growing in size. More small patches have also begun to surface.

i see a light colored ring (or portion of a ring) on the underside of a roof. I wouldn’t necessarily call that fungus, much less a fairy ring. not without a picture of the top of the roof, at the very least.
