that I may have passed by many times without noticing. Digital photos have really made this world of miniature stuff so much more accessible.

I think we have some old basswood trees in a riverside public park near the city of Wilkes-Barre.

They are usually less than a cm and also have a cupulate form. I have photographed them in January. Basswood seems to be a preferred host.
