Notes: Found in the same spots as previous seasons here- on edge of a small stream beneath Douglas fir, Alder, Cottonwood and Cedar.
Pinkish hue in young specimens(on cap) and cracking in older specimens. Pure white flesh on stem and pore structure. NOT STAINING YELLOW where handled.
Odor: “polypore-esque,” pleasantly fungal similar to R. badius.
