On ground in gravel and grass under white pine. Orange brown cap up to 5 cm. with appressed fibrils, deeply cracked on the disc with an uplifted margin in age. Gills pallid yellow in button to brown in age. Whitish evanescent partial veil. Yellowish stem with brown fibrils, paler at apex. Whitish context. No distinctive odor/taste.
